Look at this. Three days ago a team of us removed every piece of crap off my shelves, and then dusted, vacuumed, scrubbed, organized, and put it all back. I have a lot of stuff.
Anyway, today they came to finish the one window they didn’t manage to finish (even after I yelled at them) last time. We made sure they put up a big plastic tent around the window so the dust would be contained. Everything went well… until they went to vacuum up the dust with the shop vacuum.
He plugged in the shop vac, popped under his tent with the vacuum hose, and started vacuuming. Of course, since he and the vacuum hose were under the tent, and the rest of the vacuum was not under the tent…
(that is, it was in my freshly cleaned house – did I mention it took 15 hours for 3-4 people to clean?)
… he didn’t notice that the vacuum was on the wrong setting and so was blowing all the dust out in an enormous, billowing cloud that has permeated every square inch of my home.
Oh, and somehow in all of this my glass mannequin head got broken.
